Our Enchanted Garden

We have a large outdoor garden including separate growing garden for all children to enjoy. 

All of our gardens are secured by perimeter fencing. 

​We value the importance of providing all children with daily physical exercise and promoting healthy lifestyles, so there is always lots of activities to engage children in physical play and keeping active. 

​Our outdoor play approach is very naturalistic. Following our ethos, we have lots of upcycled resources in our Enchanted garden including our homemade mud kitchen built by our staff team, wooden balancing beams and we love to make the use of crates and tyres for climbing too! 

We have a variety of play equipment and apparatus including; bikes, scooters, ride along trikes, balance bikes, balancing logs, climbing bridges and lots more. 

There are lots of opportunities where children can learn and explore the natural world. 

Therefore, we kindly ask all parents to make sure they provide appropriate clothing for children to play outdoors in all weathers. We kindly ask parents to label any garments too!

For summer months, sun cream is included in our nursery fees.

In winter months, waterproof overalls are provided.

We kindly ask parents to provide a pair of indoor shoes or slippers to wear inside. This helps to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the nursery. As well as creating a home from home feel, including helping children to practice putting their own shoes on and off. 

​As well as exploring our garden, children also get the opportunity to attend trips and outings. We always gain parental consent prior to any nursery outings, which is discussed during the registration process. On some occasions parents are invited to join us too! We have previously visited Hatton Farm, Belgrade Theatre, Herbert Art Gallery, Conkers Adventure, Odeon Cinema, Twycross Zoo and local Community Library. We look forward to many more adventures! 

​For safety, we also work on a lower adult: child ratio during nursery trips/outings. We also provide all children with Hi Viz vests to be worn when on trips and outings with nursey contact details. The safety of all children at Enchanted will always remain our main priority.

At Enchanted we have so much fun, we do not even realise that we are learning!
